How to Boot Directly to Desktop in Windows 8.1

Please follow these simple steps if you want to skip Start Screen in Windows 8.1
1. Right click on the Taskbar and select Properties in desktop mode. This will display Taskbar and Navigation Properties window

2. Go to the Navigation tab
3. Then Check the box “Go to the desktop instead of Start when I sign in”

4. Click OK, That’s it!
